Please join us to learn about today’s “Best Practices” for clinical and non-clinical lighting in Behavioral Health facilities. We will cover the unique needs of the behavioral health environment, including Kirlin’s three goals for lighting in this space: (1) prevent self-harm, (2) prevent harm to others, and (3) create a soothing environment for treatment.
To accomplish these goals, Kirlin has offered a full family of vandal-resistant and ligature-resistant downlights, exam lights, shower lights, adjustables, and wayfinding luminaires for many years. In 2020, we have added five all-new products designed for these spaces: a tunable white downlight, tunable white wall wash, IK10-rated motorized exam light (INFRALED PRO 35V), nighttime observation light in circadian-supporting orange/yellow or orange/red, and our 2’x2′ ligature-resistant scenic/white panel.
