ALA’s staff, from our Outside Sales Team to Quotes, and all the way through Project Management, prides itself as a collection of industry professionals determined to bring about the best lighting resolutions to any project.

Our staff is a collection of former architects, interior designers, electrical engineers, distributors, and contractors all using their specific expertise and years of experience to help deliver the perfect lighting package.

Bill Galvin - ALA Chairman

Chairman

Bill Galvin, who has been with ALA for over 28 years, has served as the president since 2003. He began his career in Houston with an independent electrical distributor before joining ALA in 1985. Bill has a B.A. degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M.

Bill and his wife Amy have 23-year-old triplets - all currently in college. Bill spends his free time involved with the Family Ministries at Watermark Community Church and with family at their home on Possum Kingdom Lake.

Dave Galvin - ALA Executive VP

David Galvin joined ALA in June 1995 after graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors Degree in Business and Marketing. He played baseball for OU and finished his collegiate career in Omaha, NE at the 1995 College World Series.

Dave has worked in specification sales since 1996 and continues this work presently. He became a Partner in 2003, served as Vice President of Sales from 2005-2011, and has served on ALA’s executive committee since 2005.

Tim Galvin - ALA Secretary

A University of Arkansas graduate, Tim Galvin is an ALA Partner with with over 20 years of experience in the lighting industry. During this time, he has helped the design community to maintain specifications on some of Dallas' most renowned architecture, including the recently completed Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge designed by Santiago Calatrava.

Tim particularly enjoys fostering relationships with architects, electrical engineers, lighting designers, distributors, & electrical contractors to secure their jobs and deliver exceptional projects.

Greg Parmley - ALA President

President

Greg Parmley is a 1986 graduate of Texas Tech University with a B.A. degree in Finance. He began his lighting career with Lithonia Lighting in 1987 and then joined Dal-Lite Sales in the DFW area in 1989. In 1998, Greg became a principal partner in The Lighting Alliance, and in 2015 has become a principal partner in Architectural Lighting Alliance.

Greg and his wife Krissa have 2 young adult children. Greg is an avid golfer and enjoys most all outdoor activities.

Sue White - ALA Treasurer

Sue started with ALA 30 years ago while studying at the University of Texas at Dallas. With experience and studies in accounting, Sue ran the Accounting Department and Inside Sales for many years, ascending to Partner in 1987. She now contributes to ALA as a specification salesperson working hand-in-hand with lighting designers, architects, design build contractors, and interior designers to produce beautiful and architecturally-sound projects.

Sue is a firm believer in the value of family; she spends much of her free time with her husband, Steve, and her two children, Katy and Chase. Success, she believes, is based on a person's quality of relationships and being a dependable asset to the team.
